Removing the GREEN from the concrete patio with Krud Kutter

This project I recently tackled was one I have been dreading for a long time. The house where the infamous "Green Patio" is at has a deck which covers the concrete patio. The deck (wood) has slats and when it rains the rain will pour through onto the concrete patio below. With the deck covering the patio it doesn't see much sunlight so the water will sit and has actually turned the concrete green!

As you can see from this picture it is not an under statement to say that the concrete was actually green! Here is another picture of the surface before being cleaned.

So needless to say I had my work cut out for me....or so I thought! I pulled out the old pressure washer and my hand pump up sprayer. I then grabbed one of my favorite products Krud Kutter Concrete and Driveway Pressure Wash Concentrate.
Although the pressure washer I was using has a siphon tube I decided to mix the product 10:1 in the pump up sprayer. You can run the product through the pressure washer siphon tube which dilutes the product down for you, but I prefer applying the product with the hand sprayer. I mixed the product (a cup and a half of product and a gallon of water) in my sprayer and wet down the concrete prior to applying the product. As you can see in this picture I was getting a nice coverage with the product and you could actually see the product bubbling up on the surface.
I made sure to cover the area very well with product due to the simple fact that the concrete was green. I let the product sit for about 5 minutes and then fired up the pressure washer. I was taking pictures with the camera in one hand and using the pressure washer wand in the other and the moss and dirt was coming off so easily.
The thing that many people are worried about is the surround plants or grass. With Krud Kutter Concrete and Driveway PWC your worries are a thing of the past. The product is water-based, biodegradable, and people, pet, and plant friendly! Simply wet down any of the flowers which may get product directly on them prior to starting the job and rinse off any product after completing the job.I am adding a video to the end of this posting which shows just how easily the nastiness was removed using the product with the pressure washer. The job I was dreading completing turned out to be an easy job to tackle. The difference is clear if you are looking at the amazing before/after picture. The product worked and made life easy!

Up and blogging once again

So it's been a long drought since the last time I wrote on this blog but things have been busy. I had recently been traveling a ton for my job and was doing social media on the side. I have since been put back into the fold and am ready to go! I want to get things back up and running and better than ever. Hopefully we can make this blog something worth reading and getting involved with. I'm going to post a project I worked on recently as my first post. I look forward to interacting with everyone!

If it's still too cold for the NASTY GRILL how about the NASTY STOVE?

So we started a contest to try and get people to clean their nasty grill. We have little success as most of the responses I get is that it's still to cold to go out and clean those grills that could be under a few feet of snow! With this in mind I have added another application which we will accept for our contest. The NASTIEST STOVE will now be a part of this contest! If you have or no someone that has a nasty stove take a picture of it. Post it on our Facebook page Facebook | Krud Kutter and you will get product to clean your NASTY STOVE! It's that easy!

I have taken some pictures of what Krud Kutter can do for your nasty stove. Simply send us a picture of your dirty stove top and we will send you product to clean it! No scrubbing or hard work required. When I cleaned my stove top I simply sprayed Original Krud Kutter on the surface, left it sit for a couple minutes, and then wiped it up with a wet paper towel. Since you are stuck inside watching the snow fall in February, why not be productive and start your spring cleaning early and get free stuff.
